In loving memory of my dad, Loyd Cleveland (seated, front row, second from the left, in the blue jacket) February 8 1930 - April 4 2000.
He was a textile worker by vocation and carpenter by avocation. He had a wonderful woodshop behind his home where he and I spent almost every weekend from the time I started making miniatures for my model
horses in 1989 until he got sick in 1999.
He taught me everything I know about woodcraft and the making of my jumps/obstacles. One of his greatest compliments to me was “You are the most like a son of my four girls”. For those that knew him, they
would understand that comment.
I have never known a more honest and fair man. He was a wonderful father and role model. He is loved and missed.
